As if Holleman’s appearance and disappearance of potassium wasn’t strange enough, Biberian’s marine bacteria results were even more challenging. For every measured chemical element increase in one culture container, an equal but opposite decrease occurred in the other. Whilst it is always possible that errors occurred, in both cases the results and methodologies were such that I was not able to find any obvious mistakes…
